A potato patties with sabudan (sago) and roasted groundnut
Ingredients
Potatoes 1 kg
Sabudana (Sago) ½ kg
Groundnuts (Roasted) 250 to 300 gms
Green Chilies 6 to 8 (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Ghee or Oil (for frying)
Cumin seeds 2 tea spoons
Procedure
Wash sabudana and soak it little water for atleast 3 to 4 hours. Boil potatoes. Peel and smash them. Grind coarsely the groundnut. Mix smashed potatoes , soaked sabudana, green chilies, groundnut and salt (and cumin seeds) . Mix well. Make small size balls and press them. Deep fry in hot ghee or oil.
Personal Touch
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
